19 ओक्टोबर 2013 रोजी मराठी संस्कृती मंडळ, जानकी नगर, येथे ‘’कोजागिरी
दिन’’ चे आयोजन करण्यात आले, या कार्यक्रमा अंतर्गत श्रीमती अरूणा परांजपे
व साथी यांनी सुमधुर गीतांची प्रस्तुती दिली, तबल्यावर संगत केली
प्रसिध्द तबला वादक श्री रानडे जी, हारमोनियम वर श्री चांदोरकर जी, वायलिन
वर श्री कुंटे जी, कार्यक्रमाच्या प्रारंभी सर्वांचे स्वागत करण्यात
आले व नंतर कार्यक्रमास सुरवात करण्यात आली, कार्यक्रमात उपस्थित
श्रोत्यांनी भावगीत, नाट्यगीत एवं भक्तिगीतांचा भरपूर आनंद घेतला.
आयोजनास विशेष निर्देशन व सहयोग अध्यक्ष डॉ. श्री शरद महाजन व सचिव श्री विजय फणसळकर यांचे होते.

in the state of Madhya Pradesh in India. Jabalpur is located in the
Mahakoshal region in the geographic center of India. Jabalpur was the
27th largest urban conglomeration in India in 2001 (2001 Census). On a
global scale, Jabalpur was the 325th largest city or urban area in the
world in 2006 and Jabalpur is estimated to be 294th largest city in the
world by 2020. Jabalpur stands 121st in term of the fastest growing
cities and urban areas in the world in 2006. Jabalpur is the first
district in India who has been obtained the comprehensive ISO-9001 certificate. This has come into force from April 1, 2007.
Bargi Dam is one of the first completed Dam out of the chain of 30 major dams to be constructed on Narmada River in Madhya Pradesh, India.
Recently, M.P. Tourism has constructed a resort on the far right bank of
the Bargi Dam (besides the Right Bank Canal Sluice). The resort, Maikal
Resort,[2]
is a small hotel mainly including 6 rooms (all air conditioned) and a
restaurant. The view from each of these rooms is splendid as each of the
rooms overlooks the Dam Water / Reservoir. Besides all these rooms,
there is also a cruise in the reservoir water on a boat / cruise liner
called as Narmada Queen. Also facilities like Speed Boating, Water
Scooters, Paddle Boating, etc have been provided for the tourists. The
main attraction of Bargi Dam and the surrounding area is the calm that
the water provides by introducing a soothing feeling in oneself.
